Timing: Depending on workload my turnaround times generally run 2 weeks from start to finish (1 week for my first draft, 3 - 4 days for any tweaks or edits we determine and 3 - 4 days for me to create your final art file.
Imagery: On projects where I’ll be incorporating your images into the piece I’ll need you to send me the highest resolution (largest) digital image(s) you have of your subject. If they’re too large for email you can post them on DropBox or some other file share site for me to download. If your starting from prints, slides and/or negatives you’ll need to scan them first. There should be a few businesses near you who specialize in scanning but let’s talk before you take that step. If needed I can scan for you.
The Process: I may contact you with clarifying questions throughout your project and send you options or preliminary layouts to make sure I’m on the right track. For Pop Art pieces specifically I will send you a Black & White proof of your graphic for approval before moving onto color. With any preliminary layout you can suggest a tweak or two before I finalize your art however changes to directives or major alterations will require a change order and potentially a re-quote.
