Photography: A Day in the Life of a Mall
Colliers International, El Segundo, California, hired me to photograph Lycoming Mall in Muncy, Pennsylvania. Their shot list included 100 interior/exterior images in addition to my own spin on the shoot. I’ve included my customer’s review below the image thumbnails.
Colliers International is a leader in global real estate and one of the largest commercial realtors in the United States. We hired Keith Meehan to photograph one of the company's most aggressive property undertakings to date—our first mall.
Things move extremely quickly in the commercial real estate industry and Keith was able to step right up to the plate. His photography portfolio aligned well with our needs but what really sealed the deal for us was the professional manner in which he approached our project from the very start. His responsiveness and commitment to communications and follow-up meant everything to our team.
From our marketing office in El Segundo, California, I hired Keith in Upstate, New York to photograph our property in north-central Pennsylvania. He satisfied all aspects of our shot list, often providing several perspectives for us to choose from as well as capturing a range of additional supporting subject matter. The aesthetics, sharpness, detail, and color of his final images were as good as it gets.
Keith took initiative from the onset of the project, proving to be both a team player a real problem solver. He expertly managed the shoot schedule around the Northeast's early March weather conditions, which proved especially challenging on the downside of an all-time, record-breaking cold winter with heavy snow accumulations. He leveraged the one sunny day of the week for capturing the required 30 outdoor images, saving the 70 indoor store photographs for less opportune daylight hours. And through it all, Keith was able to avoid the mountains of gray snow which littered the mall parking lots.
Keith holds a five-star ranking on the U.S. wall map mounted in our office for photographers in the Northeast.
I look forward to hiring Keith again and recommend him highly for commercial photography work.
